Delicious food and great service. Went on the recommendation of a friend. Walked in at 7 on a Monday night with no reservation and were seated promptly outside as requested. Service was impeccable- our waitress was very excited to answer questions and explain their menu. After taking our order, she asked if we had any allergies and when we said yes (to tree nuts) she took great care to understand the extent and severity of the allergy and then had the chef alter the items we ordered to make sure we were accommodated. I have never received such kind and thorough attention from a restaurant regarding my allergy and it was greatly appreciated. We ordered two aburi nigari offerings and one roll and the flavors and texture were amazing. Contemplating going back tomorrow to try the chefs menu (which is says a lot as we are only in Vancouver for a week and of course want to eat as much good food as possible while we're here).
