The collections housed at LACMA are always exceptional. However, 'Jazz at LACMA' is also a cultural, socially important hub for young, musically inspired professionals.

Every Friday night from April through November, LACMA's Friday night outdoor jazz concerts is the place to be. I discovered this about 10 years ago and look forward to it every year.

This is a FREE event. Go early, seats fill up quickly. Cocktails and light snacks are available for purchase.

Some of the musicians who have performed at LACMA in the past include: Wayne Shorter, John Clayton, Kenny Burrell, Les McCann, Billy Childs, Arturo Sandoval, Cannonball-Coltrane Project, and Ernie Watts.
