Review
P. F. Chang's China Bistro is essentially an American-Asian cuisine restaurant. Legend says thats it originated in Arizona (US) of all places by a guy who was called Philip Fleming Chiang, hence the initials in the name!

Anyways, My wife is an ardent Oriental cuisine fan, so after some cardio-strolling around the Mall of the Emirates, we decided to eat at this joint of PFC for a change! And now to think of it, i don t think there is a branch in Dubai where we mustn t have eaten. The good thing about franchises is consistency! We ve never been a prey of inequality between branches in Dubai.

The Experience
We arrived early on a weekday for dinner and here were only a few tables occupied then, so we just sat ourselves at a place of our choosing. Our lovely server provided us the menu, and it was mainly directed towards my wife as i knew i would only have the Dynamite shrimps and nothing else! She scrolled through and chose to go with the Dali Chicken as it was the spiciest choice amongst the poultry options available, along with brown rice on the side. Our server was a bit hesitant thinking its a small order for the two of us and we should order some more, but we were confident in our choices and didn t. So while we were waiting, i quickly went to the inside area of the restaurant and started clicking pictures, you know for Tomato, but the manager lady there didn t seem very comfortable and ran towards me to prohibit any picture taking. All my efforts about explaining about tomato were in vain because apparently they had never heard of it! Hilarious. Anyways, i returned back to the seat and luckily the food had already arrived. The least i could do was take pictures of my food.

The Food
In one word. Amazing. The battered dynamite shrimps never disappoint with their explosive spicy and tangy flavour. Even the portion size is perfect for one person, and like I assumed, did not need to order something more. Have eaten Dynamite Shrimps at P. F. Chang's more than a hundred times already and I still look forward to eating the same dish whenever I am here. That is the level of success this particular dish enjoys across the world. Have even tried Dynamite Shrimps at a lot of other places but nobody even slightly comes close to P. F. Chang's success story.

Verdict
Its one of our favourite oriental restaurants and the availability of different joints in most major malls makes it more accessible and then there is always the trust of the brand and the consistency of taste, that makes us wanna go again and again! Oh and its value for money, so why the hell not?
