Thank you Taylor for your negative review. Firstly, I am the one you are referring to as the big boss. Your daughter made an offer on a property I was selling of which the owner accepted. The owner then decided she wanted to go to auction as planned. Your daughter then increased her offer of which my client was happy to accept. Now when your daughter received a contract, she also received a document from us that clearly outlines how offers are dealt with. In this same case, every other buyer was given an opportunity to make their offer by close of business on Monday. My client received an offer some $36,000 greater than what your daughter was prepared to pay. I have every obligation to pass this onto my clients otherwise we expose ourselves legally. My client accepted the greater offer and wanted it sold immediately. Now, we contacted your daughter and gave her every opportunity to increase her offer in order to buy the property buy she refused to pay what was market value. So I ask you this, you have rated me poorly for doing my job. The paying customer is entitled to get the most for her home. I gave your daughter more than 1 opportunity to buy this home buy she simply did not want to pay what others did. Is it my job to act in the best interest of my client who pays me. Please refer to the law. Had I not conducted myself the way I did, I was in breach of the act and could have lost my own license. I guess what your saying is that my office should have sold to your daughter and blatantly ripped off my client when your daughter was made very well aware of the process that would have followed. We are sorry your daughter did miss out however we have a legal, moral and ethical obligation here of which L J Hooker will not compromise.
