I was going to give it a 4.5, but really, we had no issues while we were there, and for what we paid, the location, and hotel itself, we had no complaints. I'm of the mindset of rating according to expectations - a five star rating doesn't mean it's comparable to the Ritz down the street - it means it delivered what was promised without issues. And Cavendish did just that. The location is fantastic - we took the Tube straight from Heathrow to Green Park station without issue, and it's only a few blocks walk from there. The Green Park station is on three lines, all of which get to you almost all places. Plus, it's walking distance to most places (we like to walk, so we walked 7-10 miles every day). We loved the Soho neighborhood, and it's only a few blocks away.

Our *only* issue was how small our room was. We're two pretty tall people, so it was a bit of a tight squeeze for us. But we made it work, and frankly, our trip was pretty inexpensive, so I don't think it's worth knocking off a star rating. It was quiet, even though it was really close to very busy areas (Piccadilly/Oxford Street). We were there for a week and had no problems or concerns.

We didn't eat there, or use any additional services. Just basically used it as our base for sleeping/resting/showering.
