I m currently trying to move into a new apartment ...

I m currently trying to move into a new apartment in the same complex I m already in and I have a past due balance on my bill. I am already broke as it is from paying my deposit and rent, and I call CU in hopes that I can make some sort of deal with them to pay the past due balance on the tenth of the month (whenever I get paid) in exchange for power in the new place.
But they were unwilling to compromise or even consider the fact that I literally will be living without power for an entire week...
If I could have paid the past due balance on the bill, I wouldn t have called CU s awful customer service line. It s just insane to me that a company would care more about $$$$$, than a person having to go without water, heat, and electricity (especially in the middle of winter?)
I don t care if your system says you can t , there should still be room for compromise, especially if there s a guarantee to pay.
I don t leave bad reviews for places often, but I am beyond frustrated, and have heard so many similar stories from other Springfield citizens.
