There are a few must do things in Milan and one is Campari cocktails in a rooftop cafe with a view of the Duomo. Climb to the top floor of Rinascente in the piazza and you find a food hall that will keep you occupied for hours and a cafe that does plenty of local cocktails. We arrived unfashionably early at about 17.30 and didn't have to queue, a little later and there were queues. It is expensive and not an intimate experience as you are surrounded by chattering Italians but it is lots of fun.
