The staff literally drove us out of the restaurant...

The staff literally drove us out of the restaurant! We had called in to check if they had a table for 6 as we had a 6 week old baby with us. It seemed a light evening and we were told that they can sit us the moment we walk in. We reach there in about 30 mins. The staff at the entrance literally tells us that they were out of rice and someone is out to buy rice and it will take 30-45 mins before we can place orders for Sushi. We check if we can start off with some drinks and other appetisers. They say but it might even take over an hour to get the Sushi. We still agreed and requested to be seated. One of the chefs was upset about it as it would be past the time for last order. They literally asked us to leave. No apologies no regrets from the staff whatsoever. This surely wasn t Japanese Hospitality in Saskatoon! Truly disappointed with the experience!
