It's rated as a five star hotel. But was more of a three star hotel. The decor and infrastructure of the ground floor is impressive. We stayed in a classic room king. Quite a small room. It could've been better planned. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. Hospitality in the dining area was warm, friendly and very good. Front desk / Reception staff were not so good. When I checked-in they didn't greet, smile or have any those little courtesies that's expected from a good hotel. I think 3 star hotels in Dubai fare better. Same goes for the person who 'helped' with our luggage. Hope they improve in this sector. Two stars mainly for the bad reception.
