Unbelievable .... why Customer is King. A few week...

Unbelievable .... why Customer is King. A few weeks ago bought a glass tabletop made to measure, costs 59.75, nice price. Now it appears that it is a bit too large and 1 m has to be cut off on 2 sides and the corners need to be cut around ..... the glass plate can be returned, a quotation cannot be issued immediately .... finish a week later someone calls back with the following message: Sir It is better to order a new one because the requested adjustments will cost 200, a new one will cost you 145 (more than 200% more than the glass plate cost). Indicated that I found that very absurd and they said that they no longer had a grinder because of a fire in their company, therefore had to take the plate to another company, drive back again etc etc and therefore the costs incurred. I indicated that these costs could not be passed on to the customer, which they dismissed. Again indicated the price I paid of 59.75, to which they replied that this was probably a wrong price charged to me ...... hmmmmm ...... how CUSTOMER-FRIENDLY is TIsaco Nuth ????? ?
I will pick up the glass plate tomorrow ...... and look for another more customer-friendly company.
