This striking and beautiful museum connected to the venerable and equally breathtaking old Fort Saint Jean is certainly worth a visit when in Marseille.

They could improve the service, the attendants were not as helpful as with most public institutions and not all halls and exhibitions were open when we went as a family in mid-April. Exhibitions can offer additional languages and getting to the various areas wasn t very clear, especially after crossing over the really cool and modern bridge.

The design is really unique and the view from the top should be on your list.
