WE SPEND A LOT OF MONEY HERE, HAPPILY:

We have three reservations scheduled for the month of October alone.
This is our staycation site.

We prefer to stay in the king size bed room with a private bathroom, but the shared bathrooms are honestly not that bad at all. It's quiet in the halls at night.

These are not super fancy rooms but they do the job and that's not really why we go there. The reason we go there is because it's just outside of the city, and it's like a little vacation village for us. When we stay there in the fall, we get our favorite room, make brunch reservations at the black rabbit restaurant, catch a movie at the theater, have happy hour in the bar (where we have met lots of awesome people) and play shuffleboard and then head to the heavenly soaking pool where you can get more drinks and it's 21 and over after 8 PM, then we go back to the room and order Uber eats in the middle of the night. We wake up and go into the soaking pool again and enjoy a hot cup of tea whilst soaking in salt water, we have massages, my male travel friend loves the hot towel shave.

In the summertime, it's fun to watch a concert there and then stay the night.

If you are sensitive to noise at night. I don't recommend getting a room that faces the front entrance because a lot of people tend to congregate there especially in the summer at night. And because there is no air conditioning, you have to sleep with the window open and a window fan in the window.

That's why we prefer to stay there in the fall. It has a more cozy feel to it.

They have pretty much everything you could possibly think of there. The on-site store even offer suites drinks and ice cream and alcohol .

The Edgefield is pet friendly as long as you have a decent pet.

The free wi-fi is a nice touch for sure!!!

If you haven't signed up for frequent visitor points for the hotel, you should.
