I contacted Severn Trent Water after a very unpleasant exchange with one their engineers in a public place. The member of staff concerned for some reason felt that I was blocking an entrance to a convenience store with my car, which I was most certainly not as another same sized van passed me with no issues minutes prior to his arrive.
Immediately after I refused to move my car, the staff member got out of his van & began to aggressively walk at pace around to my drivers side door. I exited my vehicle as I was concerned he may have intended to damage my vehicle, which without sounding ignorant is an expensive car & worth protecting.
After calmly asking the staff member why he is being so aggressive towards me, which he denied doing so (while shouting at me) I told him I will be reporting him to his employer for his aggressive behaviour & a total lack of any professionalism, to which he replied I don t give a f*** about Severn Trent .
After driving to a neighbouring side street I immediately contacted Severn Trent Water regarding the incident. I was given a compliant reference number by a very understanding woman. But unbelievably I have received no contact since then regarding this incident, despite the fact I have provided the registration number & fleet number of the van that the staff member was in at the time.
It s generally outrageous how you can report a member of staff for aggressive behaviour towards a member of the public & the employing company ignores you. Thank goodness I am not a customer of Severn Trent Water.
