A great place to spend an afternoon. Though much of the art would be better appreciated by adults, there are many exhibits that are good for all ages. Museum does a great job of mixing art and US history, and many of the exhibits are just as fascinating from a historic viewpoint. Hall of presidents is a highlight, but my favorite are the third floor exhibits (mostly due to the incredible setting).
