Autobahn was awful. I bought an E350 from the original owner who used Autobahn for service. I called, gave the name of the prior owner and background and made an appointment for the first service (76k), was told it would take about 2-1/2 hours and that it was a minor service. I set the appointment accordingly, arranged my schedule and for a shuttle.

On arrival, I was told it needed an 80k service, too, and that prior service work had not been done. I had a few incidentals. The est. was $2,200! I was also told they needed the car all day, but that no loaner was available because I failed to make an advance request. Okay, I thought, it will all get done.

After waiting for the shuttle for over an hour, I complained. It took another 15 min. to get a ride!

On my return (an exciting ride by a fast driver who like the accelerator and brakes a lot), I found that not all of the work was done (they couldn't unstick the dash ashtray) and was told more work was needed, including two new tires. The bill was more than the est. with less work done. One extra, est. at one hour labor, was charged at over $225! I said no to scheduling the extra work and two new tires (as I already knew there was 60% tread still on them).

Autobahn had a chance to earn a new customer and keep a car they had been servicing for several years. No thank you!

If you like inaccurate bad advice, incomplete work, price gouging, and overselling, Autobahn is for you. Good luck.
