We stayed in cottage #5 with our kids and my brother in law stayed in #7. We had the most amazing trip. Our kids were in awe of all the animals on the property, the rooms were simple, cozy, and very clean, the staff was friendly, and the views from the beach were incredible. It was a magical experience for our family and a great place to bond. There were little touches of charm everywhere I looked. We would come back in a heart beat for a romantic getaway without the kids, or do it all over again for a family vacation. Don't expect luxury or fancy linens, but do bring peanuts for the squirrels, take advantage of the boat dock for sunset viewing, and don't be afraid to take a day and just stay on the property to relax by the water.
