After taking a course in HRM, I kept up with my payments up till I had no income for 3 months and could really not pay the monthly instalment. After contacting the company and made arrangements for my payments to shift up 1 month, I still received a demand letter of my outstanding amount and that if I dont pay, it would be forwarded for collection and would add extra costs to my account. On receipt, I contacted the company again where I was told to ignore the notice as a arrangement was made. Then I received a final notice with the heading, we are disappointed that you made no attempt to pay or make arrangements. This was not true, as i had contacted them. I also noted that the legal department want to incasso and charge me debt collecting fees on the full amount, and not only the amount that was outstanding. After making contact again, the employee was not friendly or assisting. He refused to send a notice that an arrangement was made and c0ontinue to call me a liar as i informed him of the final notice I received. This is not a way to continue with your clients!!! especially when many people are having difficulties in making end meet due to corona lockdown. Furthermore, I was invoiced double for this month with the indication that if not paid, debt collecting fees would be added.
Untrustworthy, Unprofessional and unethical attitude is all you get.
