The movers did a good job. All of my things were moved carefully and there was no damage. However, I had specifically mentioned I wanted insurance in my email and the driver simply forgot to ask me about it/ tick off the box on the invoice and then told me it was "too late" at the end. I said it was fine as long as none of my property was damaged, which *luckily* it was not. Otherwise I would have fought them for sure. That being said, they took WAY too long to move my stuff and it cost me WAY too much. All in all, it took 5 hours for them to move a studio apartment's furnishings and the drive was less than 10 minutes. They also arrived an hour early, which they charged me for. Being the mild mannered person I am, I still tipped them which I kind of regret, but one of the movers was a young kid who I figured could use the extra scratch. Both of them were nice guys who helped the move feel less stressful. But it wasn't a great feeling to be slapped with a $700 moving bill when I was expecting $400-$500. Will not use again.
