My short review :)

My short review :)

Friendly and solicitous staff
Knowledgeable guides
Guide to tourist ratio
Delicious food!
Excellent accommodations

And one a bit longer ;)

We came as a group of 11 over spring break 2018. We stayed in 1 beachfront room and two deluxe tree house rooms.
We did the all inclusive 6 day/4 tours option.

Highlights:

Friendly and solicitous staff We were SO WELL taken care of! We were greeted by name--everyone, wait staff, housekeeping, guides, front desk, learned our names and used them. They also cared that we were having a good time, asking about our day, tours, sleep, and meals.

Knowledgeable guides introduced to a large variety of flora and fauna by name, often with an accompanying history or story.

Guide to tourist ratio Hamanasi keeps it low. I ve never been snorkeling before in a small group with our own guide pointing out and naming fish and coral.

Delicious food! Excellent variety! For dinner, one side of the menu stayed the same and the other changed nightly. Everything we ate was delicious!

Housekeeping twice a day, super clean, excellent accommodations!

Tours we did were:
Mayflower Mayan Hike strenuous, but amazing with a waterfall at the top.

Cave and Jungle Hike very cool. Everyone went on this hike (48 years to 10 years old). Swimming hole at the end, fabulous lunch provided by Hamanasi.

Canoeing spotted tons of wildlife

Snorkeling great!

Private drumming lesson suggested by the adventure staff for our 10 year old. Drummers came to the resort. It was perfect.

Chocolate tour making and sampling our own chocolate, what could be better?

Tips:
We took along Sawyer Picardin insect repellent lotion and spray. The bugs were not a problem for us.

We took along light weight hiking pants and long sleeved rash guards for hiking/snorkeling.

Bring along a backpack to carry your free water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray on tours.
