I have always heard amazing things about this plac...

I have always heard amazing things about this place so we finally decided to check it out for Valentines Day. The service and ambiance were great. We loved the dimly lit atmosphere and all of the cool bits of history hanging on the walls.

However, the food and drinks were not what we expected. We started with the Steak Tartare and it was okay. The filet was burnt, not charred - the potatoes and asparagus were good. My wife got the chicken and it had a lot of flavor but was extremely dry. I had two Old Fashioned s, the first was great, the second was awful.

Overall, it was a good dinner but not a top restaurant like many people exclaim. We were disappointed it didn t live up to expectations.
