We saw the amazing performance of Footloose!, a summer intensive camp. Let me tell you how many emotions came from it - humor, empathy, fear, love, sadness, frustration, triumph, and more - and to think that these youth - in a 10 day camp not - only fully embodied those emotions, but also learned the technical aspects - their lines, the tight vocal harmonies, the challenging physical moves, the blocking, and their sheer PRESENCE .. this state-sponsored theatre company deserves our funding.
