Jeffrey Friedland Review of The Knickerbocker Hotel
A very nice hotel in the middle of Times Square.
A very nice hotel in the middle of Times Square.
While the front desk staff weren't the friendliest, the doormen were great.
The carpet in the halls is not in good shape. My guess is that the designer/architect selected carpet that wasn't suitable for the purpose.
My only issue is the daily $35 resort fee, which is a scam, but which an increasing number of hotels are charging.
Hopefully, one of these days the Federal Trade Commission or Congress will require a "truth in advertising" for hotels and these resort fees will go away.
