Went here Sunday the 8th. Standard French brasserie menu, with the addition of some sushi rolls which I didn't try. The onion soup was deep and rich in flavor, with the sweetness of the onions balancing the richness and saltines of the broth. A generous amount of broiled and blistered cheese rounded out the soup. Steak tartare was flavorful although a bit to dense, I couldn't make out the egg yolk and honestly am not sure if it was actually incorporated, bif it was it was not noticable,. The toast points were over done, and borderline impossible to eat which was a disappoinment,. A standard salad of mixed greens was well dressed and fresh. Kobe sliders came undercooked, which was quickly remedied. The second time around they were cooked as requested and proved to be very good. Eggs Benedict were enjoyable, although the use of a croissant instead of an English muffin or French bread lent a slightly sweet nuance to the dish. Creme brulee was very good, not overly sweet with a perfectly torched crust. Overall this is a good interpretation of the the classic French brasserie and definitely a bright spot on 57th.
