I should have canceled the appointment after the first phone call with the service department when I called to book the appointment.
I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 that was purchased at this dealership. This location is closer to my house so I thought I'd try it out after having used the Sherwood Park dealership for the past couple of years.
During the first phone call when I informed them that my truck had just rolled over 50,000 km, I realized they were trying to get me in for the ~75K service, which is a lot more labour and inspections compared to the 50K service. I booked the 75K service, double checked what was needed, then phoned back to modify my service to the 50K service.

I went in on Saturday morning for my 8:30 AM appointment. I was told then that there was no shuttle (they should have told me on the phone when I booked the appointment) and that the appointment would take 3-4 hours to do an oil change and a 75 point inspection. They also should have informed me of the time needed for the inspection when I booked the appointment.
