Customer service is horrible here. Employees were nowhere to be found, and the wait was ridiculous. I had to wait for 3 hours to be told that the cats weren't ready for adoption. Went to the kittypalooza thing, and that was not a good experience... we got a kitten that was supposedly healthy, and negative on all his tests. I asked for the records, and they said they'll email it. I asked again if he had any medical conditions or medical history.. I was told no, he is perfectly healthy.. Foster parent said their vet diagnosed his eye as a permanent condition of excessive tearing... Well, I took him to the vet, and was informed that he was never tested for the FIV and the other feline testing... parasite tests weren't in the record. I told the vet, the records say he was tested... well, apparently his SIBLINGS were tested only... and has history of recurring eye infections. I reread the records, sure enough, it said there "siblings tested negative" in small print. So I had to spend $210 on these tests that the damn center should've done before releasing this cat... Will they help out? I doubt it.. The fact that they had so many kittens just given away to practically anyone that day was sad.. they literally took the form, flipped the pages without reading them, and said "ok, you can take your kitten home"
So I was given incorrect records and information.. but what do I expect for a free animal, right?
He's a great kitten.. and I will keep him, but the center needs to improve and work on their honesty
