The ice wine tour with Don was amazing, informative and held our interest all the way. Tasting was generous and yummy and probably a factor in us buying up lots. What was so good ( apart from the Welsh accent which grew stronger as we went along) was the lack of the booring bits about soil, etc. showing how the process occurs with the machines to hand.
We purchased the Ridel glasses which make such a difference to the taste, but were disappointed that they are no longer engraved.
The small $50 variety gift packs of 4 ice wines are great presents .
The main wine tasting at $3 for a sip, was very much a sip and not enough to make sure if i liked it or not, so didn t buy any normal wine that had to come from other wineries.
So this review is very much about the ice wine tour rather than the winery experience which as you can tell would not have achieved the same ratings.
