We came to Big Bear for the Labor Day weekend and tried Snow Summit for a chair lift to the mountain top. We found out there was so much else to do. Major summer attraction is the mountain biking. Lode the bikes on the chai lift and have a great run down hill. The kids loved the slide, panning for gems, the sip line and there is even a bike course for very little tikes. They also have a rock wall and a bungee jumper. The food was great, largest burger I ever got, about the size of a saucer. Back to the chair lift, if you are not biking there are also hiking trails at the top of the mountain with awesome views. Since we visited during the Covid 19 pandemic, we were pleased that the vast majority of visitors wore masks while near others. Now we want to return during the winter and experience snow in Southern California.
