I give this hotel 5 stars for DISHONEST PRACTICES....

I give this hotel 5 stars for DISHONEST PRACTICES. If you are looking for a 6am, fall out of bed, bewildered, stub your toe, scream out in pain by JACKHAMMER WAKEUP CALL please stay at this hotel! Did I say 6am! I did request a quiet room, and yes, I know it s Vegas, but a relatively quiet room, noise doesn t really bug me, but c mon a 6am jackhammer to the ear ain t no fun! Upon check in, I had asked the lady at the front desk for a quiet room, she said oh that s gonna cost your an extra 10 or if you really want a luxuriously quiet room that will be 25 dollars please and thanks! On principle, I declined both hoping for a half decent room, only to be woken up twice by the JACK!! To add insult to my injured toe!, I was charged twice at the Feast Buffet . My receipt stated charge to room yet I paid cash! Not an error, they took the cash and charged my room! Upon realizing this at checkout I was told to speak to the restaurant manager. I had a flight to catch and did not have the time to do so! Yes, they are reasonably priced, rooms are updated etc, but for me personally, accountability and doing the right thing goe a long way. The hotel did not hold themselves accountable and did not act to make things right; reimbursement! If your hotel is going through renovations give patrons rooms away from the noise, it is not rocket science. Instead you have aired on the side of dishonest practice. I cannot in good conscious recommend this hotel. Oh and to the chefs at the feast buffet, salt and spice is not a bad thing in moderation, it actually adds flavour to dishes ;). Cinnamon is needed at your oatmeal bar. You need to add flavour and another chef to the omelette station (it s a happening place!) makes sense to give the person a hand and to satisfy your patrons. More importantly, you need to monitor the staff who process cash transactions at the front or change your transaction process. For anyone reading this long winded review, apologies, but triple check your receipts as I doubt senior management/owner at Palace Station cares.
