Nice paved walkways to the arch, signs directing you from every direction in the city. I highly suggest you Buy tickets in advance online, most days they sell out hours before they close and it s a long walk just to find out you can t go to the top! The Arch is just something you must experience at least once if you Visit St Louis! (Not the best experience for those who are claustrophobic as the tram to the top is a tight fit with multiple people- up to 4- and they allow quite a good amount of people in the top at one time so it is narrow and crowded. Definitely try to go during the week day so it isn t so busy!)
