I got stuck under Wellmark with a new employer and...

I got stuck under Wellmark with a new employer and thus far, every experience has been terrible. Two claims were filed wrong; they should have been preventative care visits that are covered once per year but I was charged on both. Called in in January to resolve this after receiving a bill - they stated it would be looked into and I'd receive a call back. Never received a call back but did receive a second bill the following month.. called again; was told it was still being researched.. billed again in March; called back in and was again told it was being looked into and that Unitypoint would be called to hold my billing - now here we are FOUR MONTHS later and I received a final notice from Unitypoint threatening to send me to collections if I don't pay something that shouldn't have even been charged in the first place.

I called and spoke with a Christina who seemed so inconvenienced by me wanting her assistance on THEIR mistake. She states that it's still being looked into.. FOUR months for a screw up on their end to be fixed. This is ridiculous!

Terrible experience to start off on under a new provider and definitely need better training in their customer service.
