The three stars are given for the reception desk staff and the triage staff. After that it all went downhill. I was placed in a peds room that was freezing. No one came in to check on me for more then an hour until I told one of the clerks walking by that I wanted to leave. My pain had stopped so I just wanted to leave since I'd been there since 2AM and it was 5am now. The ER physician assistant came in and told me that based on my tests (blood /urine ) that it might just be indigestion. So I left with a prescription for meds that I did not fill. A couple of nights later while in the middle of another painful episode, I took a look at my lab results from the ER, and a person does not need to be a doctor to see that my liver test results were not right especially when I compared them with results from my physical exam the month prior. I went to my clinic and from there the nurse practitioner ordered a stat ultrasound which showed that my gallbladder was inflamed. Within a month and an MRI I had surgery for a gallbladder that was extremely infected to the point that it was black. The ER had the results for my physical tests but did not bother to compare. Needless to say I don't trust the ER doctor's judgement.
