Shen Yun was a great experience. I loved the opening act. The show consisted of of 2 songs and plenty of dancing. The costumes were bright, airy, and we'll exceuted. Loved the orchestra, I was close enough to see them in action! Before each act a lovely duo would come out and explain in the act in English and Chinese. I was also impressed with screen to stage transitions. You'll have to go to understand what I mean.

Dress attire ranged from casual to semi formal. There were some older children present. Which, I was glad to see, next year I will bring my two boys 8 and 10.

I had seat G26 I probably could have gone back a row or two but it was still awesome. The food was expensive but I was surprised they let me take it into the show. I was told that this particular show allowed food and drink but no alcohol. I paid $9.0 for hot tea and a share size pack of M&Ms.
