I hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel that I should because our experience with Twiddy was one bad thing after another. For what we paid for our vacation rental (Pelican's Nest), it should not have been dirty when we arrived, and the exterior should not have been caked with bugs. I understand it was a "buggy season" but the deck and pool furniture was so covered in dead bugs that it was revolting and unusable, not to mention the sides of the house. Someone should have power washed. The toilet seat in one of the rooms was also broken when we arrived. When we called, they did send a cleaning crew for the interior, but nothing was done about the bugs or deck/pool furniture. We also had the lights stop working downstairs and were told it was not an emergency. I feel their customer service lacks something to be desired. The final straw for me was our departure day. We packed up and left, and hours later I realized that I had left something valuable to me behind. I called and explained the situation, including a description of the item and where EXACTLY it was. They did not make the lost-and-found process easy. At all. They told me they couldn't look for it for a WEEK. Excuse me? You couldn't just run over? By the time I called back (they did not follow up with me) a week later my item was reported to be not there. I called back several times with no luck. Will we be using Twiddy again? Absolutely not.
