I saw this Orthopedic about 4 months ago regarding terrible knee pain. He took Xrays and told me nothing was wrong and tremendously focused on me being overweight and trying to get a gastric bypass revision surgery. I told him that something was wrong but he refused to listen. I went to a pain management doctor who ordered an MRI and discovered that I have a torn meniscus amongst other injuries in my knee. I then went for a 2nd Orthopedic opinion from a doctor affiliated with NYU Langone in NYC and was told I need at least a partial knee replacement. I feel I wasted my time with Dr Bernstein, his wife is friendly but talks way too much. Very unsatisfied and will not go back.
