We did not have a lot of time in DC so we chose to...

We did not have a lot of time in DC so we chose to tour Arlington 2 hours before closing. I am mobility limited so I used a scooter with my husband and 3 sons. It was wonderful to be able to keep up with them. Recommend if needed.
We then headed out to the memorials beginning with Iwo Jima. It got dark while we were there and was beautiful lit up. We went to the rest of the memorials in the dark...no crowds, no lines, no crazy people. And absolute beauty lit up reflecting in the water and solemnity the way they should be.
