Was offered a rental while my car was in the shop....

Was offered a rental while my car was in the shop.. was picked up by enterprise service which was timely, friendly and courteous. Once I was next to be served at the facility, the man took me out to my rental car.. and that's where everything went backwards.

The rental car was a Focus, which had an oil light, cracked windshield, stained seats all around, REEKED of cigarettes, and had multiple body dings/chips. I was told not to worry about these, that they were already documented. I asked if there was an alternative vehicle due to the damage and smell.. and I was told this was the only vehicle the dealership would cover for me, since it had to be a Ford. This was said while parked next to 2 base model Mustangs that were available. Before I was allowed to leave, the man insisted he called my insurance company and verified I had rental insurance. This took over 10 minutes standing outside while he tried to navigate the phone system. Once I was "verified", I was finally able to leave. After a week and a half, I returned the vehicle with extra gas (I was compensated.. the 2 stars reflect this and the van pickup), and was told Ford covers any Ford product available, and the Focus I was handed was supposed to be out of commission for repairs and maintenance.

Don't think I'll ever voluntarily go back to this center.. even the dealership claimed to be looking at another center to do business with.
