Do not buy a CCB-150. I have had nothing but problems on a unit that I was told would be reliable and top performer. Numerous visits from their service technicians were made to my house. The first trying to resolve an A48 error which would shut the unit down. They installed monitoring equipment which remained connected to my unit for over two weeks for their engineers to acquire data to troubleshoot the issue. I was told that a new board being developed would solve the issues. I conveyed that I would rather have a conventional boiler however ECR service rep assured me that the newer computer board on CCB -150 would resolve the issues. All I can say is I am only about two years in with the replacement unit and infrequent hot water.

My neighbor experienced the same issues as we both had the CCB-150 boilers installed, after his second unit still proved unreliable he scrapped and replaced with a conventional gas boiler.

I would not recommend the combo CCB-150, though you may be told it is a proven technology stay away.
