Let s start with the positives... They had a good gym. That s about it. Other than that, I don t really know where to start. I stayed at the hotel for a week during as we were in town to watch the Canucks. Before the first game, four guys in our group got stuck in the elevator. They were stuck there together with five other people for more than two hours and, hence, missed a large portion of the game. They were compensated with $150 in the restaurant at the hotel. That barely covered the cost of the tickets. Cheap! As for myself, I was locked out of my own room during that last night. The reason? The battery locker died. No one in the staff was able to open the door and me and my buddy had to change rooms with all of our stuff left in the old room. The next day, it took them a quite some time to open the door and caused me to almost miss my flight out of town. Compensation? Nothing! Suffice to say, I will never stay at a Sandman hotel again.
