TLDR; (1) Omar is great! If you go here, ask for him! (2) Al made a mistake and wouldn't own it or negotiate, so he lost a future customer and future business.

Update: When I went to pick up my vehicle, I did not think to bring a checkbook because I don't use checks for just about anything, nor do I typically carry any with me since they don't get used (nor was I told that I needed a check until I was already on the road from over an hour away). Okay, whatever, right? One would think I could pay with my debit card and be on my way (since debit cards are the modern equivalent of a paper check). Nope, they wouldn't let me do that without paying a 2% fee (in total, just over $100). You would think a business could eat the $100 to satisfy a customer, but no. They forced a student to pay the fee.

In total, I wasted 2 hours of my time and my girlfriend's time at the dealership because of a lack of communication and unwillingness to work with their customer. Again, this falls on ownership or management, not the salesperson. I can now confidently say that I will NEVER return to this dealership and cannot recommend that anyone work with them after my experience.

END UPDATE.

First and foremost, Omar is wonderful! If you come here for a vehicle, ask for him! He did everything in his power to get me the best deal he could.

Unfortunately, and the reason for the 1 star review, is because the owner was unwilling to budge on his price. He did come down initially, but that was because the tires were in need of replacement.

The part that got me was that the heated seat on the vehicle was not working as it should, and the owner, Al, would not compensate for that. His reasoning was that they paid too much for the vehicle on trade. Okay, sure, that happens, but then this should be a lesson for him to check these things (tires, all components including heated seats etc.) to ensure that everything is up to snuff and you don't overpay. (Kind of like I did, and any other rational buyer would do.)

I did still reach a deal because Omar was so great! I do not, however, think that I would come back if Al is still around. It is too much of a hassle to work with a guy like him.

My final words are these: Al, it is not the fault of your customers if you overpay for a vehicle because your staff did not do a proper job inspecting the vehicle. Things that are not working as they should should be factored into pricing both at purchase and at sale.
