If you live in San Diego, you already know about Antique Row. Friendly staff, delicious comfort food favorites. Food is prepared hot and gets to the table quick. Chicken fried steak and eggs is always my go to. Large portions and great prices. This was my Saturday morning haunt when I lived in S.D. You mighy even spot Shotgun Tom Kelly having breakfast there.

The restaurant's walls are decorated with memorabilia, it looks really cool. The food is great too, I always get the Chicken Fried Chicken. The portions are crazy, I always end up taking it home. Desert is good too. It's a fun place to eat.

YOU MUST TRY THIS SPOT. First off the decor is way cool. One could walk around looking at all the stuff for a hour. Oh, and the food...the FOOD! It's all so good. I have a hard time deciding what to get. There's no wrong pick here. Great food at a good price. Oh let's not forget the staff. They're awesome too. Always so friendly! And they work as a team, I find that super important. One of the best places in San Diego.

This is one of our favorite breakfast places! We are from Texas and the Chicken Fried Chicken is the best we ve ever had. Also the pancakes, waffles and hash browns are amazing. We normally eat keto and they have hot links that aren t on the menu typically but are sooo good! The portions here are huge and I think this place might be San Diego s best kept secret. Do yourself a favor and come here.

Frosted flakes French toast, they ran out of bananas so I ended up getting strawberries but they were canned in syrup and not fresh so they were all mushy and soggy. Not a great choice, the French toast was ok, not all that and not worth the price. If I go again I will order regular French toast, hopefully they don't run out of bananas.

Great food and great service. This fun diner is always a treat to go to. The staff is always supper friendly and fun. And if you go enough times like we do they make you fell like part of the family or a celerity. Food is always good and huge portions.

Always delicious, generous portions and good atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. Parking may be difficult to find but it s worth a little walk. The cinnamon rolls are a must.

By far the best sausage gravy in San Diego. Their biscuits N gravy is on a whole another level and I thought Cinnabon had the best cinnamon rolls, NOPE! The staff is super friendly, the portions are big and the food is seriously delicious. I'd suggest ordering the chicken friend chicken with a cinnamon roll on the side.

This is your classic favorite greasy spoon time machine. The decor is oldies goldies with Elvis, Marilyn and more on the walls. Proud Steeper fans too. But you really come here for the food, and the glorious gigantic cinnamon rolls and sticky buns. I love their Monte Cristo.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. Our server was very attentive and friendly. My brother said the following: she is the first server to bring extra napkins without asking her to! That says a lot. This was our favorite spot during out short stay in San Diego.

I was super disappointed in my meal from antique row cafe. I was at an outdoor event and was looking for something easy to hold and eat. I ordered the club sandwich that came on French roll. I got a messy club style 3 layers of wheat bread sandwich that was hard to eat, made with low quality ingredients. I also got the fries that were obviously frozen and not cooked. They were white and cold on the inside. What a waste of money!

Finding a family friendly breakfast spot while in SD was made easy here. Great food and decor. Kids menu offered a good variety of choices. Friendly staff. Arrived early and avoided the crowd and wait. Looking forward to our future visits when it town. I suggest the biscuits and gravy. Be sure to check the board for the daily specials.

Great food & very friendly service. In addition to good food, they also have a fairly extensive breakfast and dinenr menu. I went on Monday morning, so there was no crowd. A nice area, and reasonably priced.

Cool place. Good food and great prices.

Cool place. Good food and great prices.

Huge potions. Interesting menu items. Breakfast served all day. Always loved that feature.

I ordered chicken Fried chicken. Nice and tender, perfectly crisp chicken cutlet. Served huge slab of crisp hash brown.

I had a bit of a time to kill. No one bothered me as I hung out for over an hour as I waited for someone to finish up some paperwork nearby.

Did I mention they have good service too.

Stopped by on a whim and couldn't be happier. Upbeat staff made me feel welcomed and their early bird menu if a good value. Scrambled eggs cooked with bacon and pancakes are simple and delicious. Next time a want to try the Lumber jack breakfast though!

Ate here for the first time today, the food was delicious and abundant! Our waitress, Debbie, was friendly , efficient and had a great sense of humor! Our group had a great time looking at all the nostalgic memorabilia. We plan on going back soon!

Love this place! The staff is great, kitchen is fast. Warning: they are not stingy with the portions here - you'll be leaving with leftovers unless you're really hungry. And the biscuits are the best - get there early before they run out!

I went to breakfast here and enjoyed my Eggs Benedict; that's my go to dish when trying a new restaurant. Nice sized portions. Good quality ingredients and everything tasted great. My guests had scrambled eggs w/potatoes, biscuits w/ gravy, french toast with bacon & eggs.
Restaurant had a cool old school vibe. Located right off Adam's Ave.

ARC is a must have when I'm home for any reason...! Quality, quantity, and did I mention quality....I found this place back in 96 from an old shipmate that went by the name "Nally".... god rest in peace ol salt. Dude knew his grub and this place was close to his heart. So grateful for the introduction to some of the best breakfast in SD....

Antique Row Cafe on Adams Ave is the absolute best restaurant in this area. The food is always great, large portions, very good prices and wait a minute, the employees are the best... fun, lively, smiles, prompt service. The owner, Mario and his wife are both exceedingly friendly. The interior is packed with style from 50's and 60'! Beautiful place and very popular often having long line.

Haven't been in years because moved out of town. What a pleasant surprise to return to find everything is still awesome: the people and the food. Could not have been a better experience. I loved the California omelet, absolutely delicious. Great servers and fast food delivery. Quaint nostalgic atmosphere will bring you back for more. A must try!

Pros: The food feels really homemade and the biscuits are amazing. You get a solid amount of food. The service is fast, albeit impersonal. (I couldn't care less about friendliness, I just want efficiency).

Cons: It's too much for food I could make.

I wish there were half star ratings as this would be a 3.5. I usually reserve 4 stars for places I would go out of my way to visit and 5 stars for great-for-the-price food.

I had the vege scrambler. The eggs and veges were about right. It was made well enough, but it's also something I could do. If food is going to be $12, it should be something I can't do as I infrequently make scrambled eggs. If this were a bit cheaper, I would regularly come here.

The potatoes didn't have too much seasoning and were just potato-y. Not bland, per se. Better than Hash House, but not as good as The Cottage.

If you're in the area, try it, but it's not worth going out of your way for. It's also too expensive to go to regularly for normal wage earners.

This place is really great! From the second I walked in, the staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. Alli was delightful and got us set in a spot on the back patio. We had a couple of Antique and some wine and everything was delicious. Good prices, too. Definitely going to come back!!!!
