My experience with the community care program is nothing but a nightmare. ive been waiting for an eye exam and new glasses since April. In June they refered me to a eve doctor that hadnt practiced in 20 yrs. ive left numerous messages to deaf ears. I finally had to go to a eye doctor and pay for it out of my own pocket. What a JOKE this is. These people get paid to take care of VETS and they do nothing to help. Maybe they should be replaced by caring workers that will return calls and HELP. IM not critisizing the whole VA system, My local VA in Hibbing is outstanding
