Though you would think or assume it would be beautiful or fancy as shown in movies or other deemed universities(they are focused more on infrastructure rather than academics)there is no uniform, Students wear casual dress that's why all mietans thinks they are cool because in meerut city there is no other college which permits casual dress( but I am not one them who think about coolness)Boys are free to leave anytime but girls are strictly in the college till college time is over

Canteen is open till midnight my hostel friends told me about this i did not know bcz I was day scholar.it provide everything like pastry,samosa pratha,tea etc

Academics

as I am writing this amswer by my experience so I am telling you that more focus on under graduate students.big mncs invite for recruitment.inmain focus on theory rather than practical.but mainly depends on the hod that how he/ she run their department.and at last it depend on the students how much they are sincere about their studies overall Miet is good college.good luck for future endeavours.

NCR has many companies but meerut doesn t have any. My friends who did their B.Tech from NCR had a lot of exposure than I did. Many good coaching institute are also in NCR.

If you pursue Btech from NCR:rut Institute of Engineering & Technology is a good college of MIET group, situated on NH58 Meerut.

Note: Please don't confuse it with Meerut Institute of Technology, which is another college of MIET group in Meerut.

Campus:

College was founded in 1997 so some building are older, while some are newly constructed.
Older blocks are renovated time to time and now most of the blocks has elevators.
All blocks has all basic facilities of toilet, fresh drinking water on each floor.
Class rooms are Non-AC but has proper ligts, fans and windows for fresh air.
Campus is secure as most of the part is coverd by CCTV (except clasees).
Campus is quite large with enough lawns and decorated with plants and flawers.
An Amul parlour and a medium size canteen is there for all basic refreshments.
Classroom are good with capacity of 60 students and uses greenboard istead of whiteboard.
Labs are best part of the college, machines,computers are in proper working condition with proper maintenance.
Other departmental hitech labs like FESTO, BOSCH, IBM etc are also awesome with advance machines and tools.
College Campus is quite goot but not luxurious and it can't compete with other competitors in terms of campus.
Academics:

College is quite good in term of axademics and compete the competitors.
Each year students hold merits in university.
Yes, it is true that most of the faculties are young in the age group of 25 to 35, and has less experience and sometimes student faces problem.
College also focuses on skills, and run free of cost programs to enhance student's corporate skills.
Placement is good for CS branch and below average for other branches.
MNCs like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Samsung etc visits campus for recruitment.
In 2019 TCS recruited 125 students, wipro recruited 89 studemts. I am a CSE final year student and already placed in both TCS, Wipro.
Things to be Noticed:

It is only college in Meerut which falls under Top 10 list of private colleges of AKTU, all other colleges are in Ghaziabad or in Noida.
Parking is not free and cost 10 each day for a two wheeler.
Most of the extra curricular activities only benefits hostelers as they are arranged on weekends and day-scholer miss this part of college life.
First aid facility is not available, there is no dispensary in campus.
You may miss the diversity here, as most of the students are from local place meerut.
Good students always get jobs, no matter what college you are in.
