My recommendation to you LOOK AT ANOTHER PROPERTY...

My recommendation to you LOOK AT ANOTHER PROPERTY IN BORA BORA, PLEASE!!! I can't even believe the price they ask for this hotel and what little the offer there guest. It was a huge mistake on my part staying here in Bora Bora, I should have stayed with Starwood properties.

We arrived and there was no one waiting for the three couples arriving by boat. The boat driver called for help three times before deciding to bring the boat in all on his own, trust me that went horribly. We arrive on the small island to fend for ourselves, as we all head towards the front desk we are stopped and told to proceed to the bar to check in. Oh yes they checked us in at the bar while serving other guest lunch and it is extremely unorganized. They also tried to make us sign a paper saying they were not responsible if something should happen to us. We did not sign it, not that a paper like that would ever stand up but when we said no they look shocked. Told them to send us the GM is there was an issue.

The rooms are nice, but definitely needs improvements. We stayed in a beachfront property. FYI the window are not closed, pretty much just wooden shutters which you close if you want the AC on. They offer one bottle of water per room, and told us we can drink the tap water if we want more water. I am from Canada and do not drink tap water when travelling and easly expect 2 bottles of water for 2 adults in a room. Not here, they told us to go to the local market to buy water. They offer a Nespresso machine in the room, but hey don't get too excited they don't give you the pods. You need to pay 4.50$ a pod should you want a Nespresso coffee in the room. OMG I have never in 35 countries visited have been told when staying at a hotel with a Nespresso machine in the room to buy the pods if I want one.

We never had breakfast with the hotel as it is very overpriced and not worth the 45$ a person what so ever. We had a look and decided since you had no options only the buffet and the buffet is worse then most cold buffet breakfasts offered at Holiday Inns we d skip it. We went to the local market where they told us to buy more water should we want and bought some cookies, fruit juice, pastries and fruit. This hotel is a mess when it comes to food. We wanted to eat dinner early one night, around 5pm and she told us they don t serve dinner until 6:30 and it finishes at 9:30. Should we wish to eat they have small canapies at the bar. I am on vacation and can t order food for dinner at 5:00pm. No of course not!

Also the noise from the town behind you is ridiculous, you can hear cars and dogs barking and scooters. This is not what I want on vacation. They are good at taking very nice pictures and only showing you what they want you to see, but this is not your dream Bora Bora vacation. We asked for a second set of shampoo, conditioner and lotion and they said we d get it the next day. I asked if they had a gym and they laughed in my face and said they re a four star hotel, we don t need to have a gym. Also the air-conditioning in the room sounds like a truck driving thru your room, its horrible and will keep you up all nice. If that doesn't then the bug flying all over the room which you cannot get ride of will when they decide to sleep in your hair or in your bed with you.

Overall this hotel is not a holiday worthy hotel and with rude staff, unhelpful staff who aren t looking to make sure you have the best vacation possible and being told to go to the market if you want anything this hotel ruined my relaxing Bora Bora beach vacation. There is little privacy, its very low class and needs massive improvements to even be considered a four star hotel. It s more of a motel 6 surrounded by clear warm water. I highly recommend you look elsewhere, look at other hotel chains which may offer a better experience.
