My wife and I have been traveling back and forth between Seattle and Kitsap County over the last week to stay close to our son who is in the hospital. On December 11, we were on our way back to the ferry and it was dinner time. We have been eating nothing but hospital food and fast food for the last week. I suggested a few different places that were close to the ferry terminal and I remembered that Red Robin was down from the ferry. My wife placed the order online while we were driving toward the boat with the plan of walking down to Red Robin, pick up our order and head back to the ferry
We hit some traffic and it looked like that we were going to make our boat but not be able to walk down and pick up dinner. We called to see if we could cancel our order however, Brandy offered to walk down to the ferry (in the rain) and meet us with our dinner (she told us to look for the girl with the red balloon).
We were blown away with her kindness and willingness to do this and sure enough, as we were pulling into the terminal, there was Brandy with our dinner (and her red baloon).
All I can say is thank you. You made a couple of exhausted, hungry parents very grateful.
