Kettle Construction promises a lot and doesn't keep his word. For months nothing happens. He lied to us repeatedly and blamed third parties for the delay when it was his responsibility as general contractor to keep the project moving. Make sure to put a time frame into contract with enough penalties to make him move. To get a bid in writing from him is as challenging as to get him stay true to his word. Make sure you have a contract written in stone and checked by your lawyer before you commit to him as general or sub for any work.
