Thus far, the apartment (Celeste) is exactly what I expected. It's a cheap place and the service is sub par. Cigarette burns in the carpet they never took care of, cigarette smoke in the carpet that stained feet for some time after moving in, and tar leaking from the walls. Tar became very apparent while after moving in due to high humidity, since there is no fan in the bathroom. The office staff are helpful, if it's not too much of an inconvenience for them. Maintenance are great, but subject to the behest of a cheap operator.

They also do not do any credit reporting, unless payments are missed, I'm sure.

All in all, you get what you pay for. This is a cheap apartment. It's fine for me while in law school, but people need to be aware of what they are getting into here.
