There are much better hotel options in downtown Austin. Had a staycation here and was pretty disappointed overall. The pool was nice and the location is great, but that was about it. There were multiple mischarges on our account at the end of our stay and the manager was disinterested in sorting them out. We are still waiting to be refunded for charges that should not have been incurred. If you re staying in Austin choose the JW Marriott or Fairmont. If you do decide to stay, do not get the included breakfast. The food is subpar and they charged us for it even though we already paid for it in the room rate. There are much better breakfast places within walking distance.
