Please read the reviews about this place and please learn from my mistake. If you are looking for someone to help you with purchasing a new Hyundai, go to John Olson at AutoNation Hyundai Tempe. I regret not giving him the opportunity to give us a great deal.

I first want to say that I am very pleased with my Hyundai Sante Fe, I love it. I did a bunch of research of what I wanted before I went to buy, but didn't really research how to go about purchasing the car. My mistake. They advertised a new Santa Fe at a great price which brought us in to look at it. When we arrived we just asked for the numbers with an interest rate and monthly payment. I just wanted to have some concrete numbers to evaluate. They didn't do it. They came back with the price of the car with all these "extra things" that jacked the price up. We said, no thank you, we came for the advertised price. They then focused on just knowing what my number was for a monthly payment after a down payment. I gave them one and they came back with a monthly payment that was within $10 of my target number. I thought this was reasonable, so I agreed to it. This was ASSUMING that I would get maybe a 5 or 6% rate. Well, my bank came back with a 3% rate, but my payment stayed the same....they raised the price of the car in order to make my payment stay the same, but sure didn't tell me. They made sure to focus on the fact that I would pay it off a few months earlier than the loan was. While that's great, I would rather have had the car be a lower price up front.

I'll be honest that I'm not someone who buys cars all the time and it takes me time to really process everything, but the lack of transparency in this car buying process has put a distrust for this dealership, and I won't be back.
