Great experience of costumed actors portraying act...
Great experience of costumed actors portraying actual inhabitants of a Plymouth, MA village in 1626 based on historical records. There is also a Wampanoag settlement explaining the Native American experience. The actors in the Pilgim settlement stay true to character. It is fun if you are able to grab a brochure ahead of time with the names and descriptions of the inhabitants or the book Mayflower by Nathaniel Philbreck that expounds on the plight of the indigenous once the Pilgrims arrive.
There are indoor exhibits and the outdoor exhibits encompass a fair amount of walking sometimes uphill. Great gift shop. Food available.
