I bought a groupon for one 30 minute massage and 60 minute spa session. During my first phone call to make an appointment, they suggested I might want to upgrade to a 60 minute massage for $30. I refused. The next phone call took place when I had to cancel my appointment. This time, they wanted to upgrade me to a 60 minute massage for $20. I refused again. The third phone call was a reminder call with the same offer of an upgrade but this time for $30. I refused again. When I arrived at the spa, they again asked me to upgrade and again I refused. Groupon had offered me the same upgrade for $9.00. The facility is beautiful and clean and quiet and peaceful. What I didn't like was the pushiness of the staff regarding these upgrades. There were only 4 people there on a Sunday and it seems like they might be desperate to make more revenue. Otherwise, I enjoyed the spa but will probably not return.
